With a passion for bringing analytical and digital solutions to the construction industry, John is the inventor of several proprietary technologies including SMART and LOGIC+. Over his career, John has led global commercial functions for international organisations such as GE Oil & Gas and Origin Energy. With a career spanning over 25 years, John is one of the leading innovators of the construction industry, pioneering new ways to improve safety, increase productivity and avoid disputes.

Dan is a highly skilled senior executive providing industry leadership and governance with exceptional commercial acumen. He has over 28 years’ experience across road and rail transportation, heavy civils, infrastructure, oil & gas, and mining sectors in Australia, Asia and Europe. Dan’s specialised skill set is based on an ethos of securing best-for-project outcomes through pragmatic, collaborative frameworks, and an affinity to drive results swiftly. Dan has significant experience in dispute avoidance and resolution, negotiating contract awards, operational & business unit management, and has most recently sat on three boards for combined project values over $3.5 Billion.

John has close to 20 years’ experience in Data and Analytics, specialising in Machine Learning (ML), in which he completed a PhD to predict Customer Churn using ML technologies. John has applied his skillset across a plethora of industry sectors including mining, telecommunications, banking, utilities, and agriculture. As a pioneer in his field, John has led many organisations through their digital transformation, from Data Warehouse planning and design, right the way through to the implementation of Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning based solutions that have released business value to industry well in excess of $100m.

Having completed a BSc from JCU, Darcy has over four years’ experience working in GIS development and analysis. Darcy has a background in developing mapping products and analysis in the urban planning space and has been the lead developer on Lewis Woolcott’s SMART technology since its inception. Darcy specialises in implementing web mapping products using Polyglot stacks with a mix of open source (e.g. FOSS4G) and commercial solutions in AWS.

Robert has three years’ experience in software development, with a background in developing GIS solutions for the transport planning sector. Robert is passionate about building reliable software and has a broad skillset in cloud computing, web mapping, and functional programming. Robert holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Queensland and is currently completing further studies in GIS.

Graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Computer Science, Jack is highly skilled in Python language for data analytics and building web applications. He also has experience developing .NET applications and implementing cloud computer services. Jack has been instrumental in the development of our proprietary software and is a valued member of the LW Analytics team.
